Short bio

Rigor, care, and the kind of directness that actually moves things.

Ame Lambert, Ph.D. is the founder of Future Set Thriving and the architect of AI in Our Hands, a community-rooted initiative helping people who have been left out of the AI conversation use AI, shape AI, and make AI. She brings more than two decades of executive leadership in higher education, organizational strategy, equity-centered transformation, and large-scale capacity building. She has led complex, multi-year change efforts at institutions where clarity, courage, and alignment were essential — and has done it with rigor, care, and the kind of directness that actually moves things. Her approach integrates organizational development, adult learning, neuroscience, intercultural leadership, equity practice, and systems thinking. She is as comfortable in a boardroom as she is in a community convening. And she does not separate the personal from the work.

“We don’t do this work because it is easy. We do it because it matters — and it is meaningful, life-affirming and life-giving.”

— Ame Lambert, Ph.D.

“I could not unsee what I had seen and I could not go back.”

The Guiding Question

If the outcomes you want are not consistently emerging, what conditions need to change?

That question drives everything. Dr. Lambert helps leaders and organizations see what is actually happening beneath the surface, name the conditions producing current outcomes, build shared vision, strengthen relational and leadership capacity, and design practical next steps that can hold complexity. Her work is not about adding more effort to a broken system. It is about changing the system.
